@guanaco777 but if in the future they released an update, would you be able to play apex again with the usual account? or is it an irremediable error?

@jBeatlow I did both download and re-installed it to start fresh with no cache or unwanted files. As far as Origin and Steam I believe you still have to follow the process as if you’re doing it fresh too but it should prompt up that it’s already installed and you just need to continue. Let me know if you have any other questions as I am learning with you guys too.

@SEKHYrUnfortunately, it is an irremediable error. Anything I was able to find and confirmed of this broke my heart too. There isn’t a fix and there won’t be a fix to what this is because NOBODY seems to know what happened. It’s the Windows Account that’s corrupted and just like when a file is corrupted, it needs to be replaced with a fresh, healthy one. (In this case, a new Windows User Account)

if this was an “Apex Legends Update” issue, it would have been fixed with their latest patch/season update. Therefore, corrupted “Windows User Account” is the other answer.

@SEKHYr It's not your files that got damaged, it is your Windows User Account that is corrupted. Why? How? I can't say since I don't work for Respawn or EA but this is the 100% working fix I discovered.

@guanaco777 when I create a new user and login (after signing out) I still have all the same apps on the desktop, when I click steam it automatically logins to my steam acc (no need to download steam and login) is there something I'm missing on how to create a completely fresh user with no data. Thanks man
