I just spent £1200 on a new PC and have got everything installed, but I cannot make ToR work. Everything else is fine. It always crashes on the splash/loading screen and never gets any further.
ASUS ROG Strix 270e motherboard,
i7 4.2Ghz quad core
16Gb RAM DDR 4 ram
GeForce 1070 GTX 8GB
Windoes 7 64bit
I've tried streaming downloads, I've tried non-streaming, I've tried installing from CDs and patching from there. I've tried messing with client settings, launcher settings, I've tried everything. All drivers are up to date.
Does anyone know what else I can try or what I can do to fix it?

Problem solved. It doesn't work with Sonic Studio 3. Must be some kind of conflict somewhere. As soon as I closed SS3 it worked absolutely fine.

Sorry but if you really tried everything no one here can help you, hopefullly it will be better if you go to live chat or get phone call from EA.
P.S get ready to give this for the staff https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

Did you check your Firewall and Virusscanner settings.
Posting your dxdiag and LauncherLog would help greatly.
The dxdiag is likely the right way, but since EA don't support this Game directly this Forum is a lot better then EA Live Chat, and for an Phone Call he would have to Call BW with the Number's provided on the right side of the Forum.

Oh EA really do not support direcly this game? This kind of strange, because on official swtor site they wrote that now support "living" here... So uncomfortable! Do you know any information about normal supporting swtor here?(just for interest, I have not got any problems with swtor so far, but in the future...)

If you press the windows key and type reliability , open the reliability history and let me know if there are any crash details listed.
There is a possibility this my be EDID related can you copy your client_setting contents to here.
Noting the monitor if the EDID is incorrect the game will hiccup on launch , trying a different monitor should prove if this is the case.
but will get to that
Monitor Name: LG M198WA(Digital)
Monitor Model: M198WA
Monitor Id: GSM4B36
Native Mode: 1440 x 900(p) (59.887Hz)
Output Type: DVI
See this link in regards to support for swtor

Ok the client_settings is wrong for the resolution
change the below in red in the client_setting file
NativeHeight = 1800 to = 900
NativeWidth = 2880 to = 1440
Width = 1920 to = 1440
Height = 1200 to = 900
RefreshRate = 120 to = 60
Save the file then start the launcher
