This is happening to me too. I cant even start my game now.
When i try to start it it gives a weird sound like buzzing and immediately crashes.

My Sims Mobile App began to disfunction about 24 hours after the update. Initially it was only when I had to finish the special event of my 2nd sims. After a few attempts to close and reopen the app, I managed to play correctly. Only a few minutes later the bug turned into a bug when I open the app (there are the logos, then the page is loading, music crashs and the app closes).
I tried everything listed on a link on this forum (reboot the phone, uninstall and reinstall the app, etc.)
Talking about uninstalling etc. : I did it 2 times. First I managed to connect to my Facebook account so I could find my initial game part but when it loaded, the app crashed again. Now I did again and I can't even connect to my Facebook account anymore and like so can't find my inital game part.
I'm lost and don't know what to do. I'm stuck in a new game part that I don't want to play in and I don't know how to change between games parts or solve the crash problem.

I am having the same problem. It started with the game crashing when I tried to access any area beyond my home (downtown, market etc), including visiting other players' homes. Fortunately my Sims were at home so I still had access to them but I foolishly sent one out to brunch and the game was crashing when I tried to go to her. My other Sim hung around the house for a while - pretending to do yoga while she looked at her phone - until I tried to change her outfit. The game instantly crashed again and now crashes during the loading screen when I try to fire it up again.
Since the update I have also had issues with furniture changing positions and clipping into other furniture, like everything in the game has lost track of where it's supposed to be.

I had the furniture changing positions and clipping into other furniture issue before the app crashed too. That hadn't happened in my game before.

Same here, at time of update i had sims at work in different areas and at home. At first I could not get them home but managed to call them over from work to home then not get them back to work. Then game started crashing on me and now i can even open it back up. EA help support have spent last 24 hours getting me to do different things, starting the game anew, reloading original game to test my ipad now they think it is an account issue and i am being referred to a specialist = they only work over weekends so hoping this gets fixed soon. feel in limbo only been playing a few weeks and regretting spending real money but fingers crossed they can resolve. i now have to wait until someone contacts me again with more instructions! Prior to this I was having problems over last few weeks with quests getting stuck, sims unable to be manually retired, ads not working.EA Support were really helpful but now having to wait for someone else to contact me which may be a few days! Sims used to be so much simpler when you played on the PC!
