Solution for crash on start up and loading into Story etc.
Might also help with crashes during gameplay if you had no startup/loading issues.
Delete the two files with DX12 in their name in the following locations:
...\Need for Speed Unbound\shadercache (where you installed the game)
...\Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\cache
You might need to delete the new dx12 cache file in documents everytime you want to launch the game.
For some reason the generic dx12 cache file interferes with loading the game (story mode etc.) properly for many people.
Have fun^^

any solutions yet? I was playing the 10 hour trial perfectly fine, my trial ended so i signed up for play pro. NOW the game refuses to start up and says "Double check your connection or try again later" THE ONLY SOLUTION FROM CHAT AGENTS IS TO WAIT 3-4 DAYS WTF?!?! Yall need to help , i tried everything, at first for the trial, the DX12 file being deleted worked. HOWEVER the game wont start up now after paying to unlock it? I attached the DXdiag just incase you clowns decide to ask for it AND before yall say some clown thing about my cores, i invite you to RE READ my question. I PLAYED THIS GAME ON HIGH SETTINGS FOR 10 HOURS NO ITS NOT MY PC!

2 weeks have passed... no answers and 1 patch that didn't fix the issue.
New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
