This is a very odd thing started happening to me only in Battlefield 5 and not any other games the past couple days. Battlefield 5, for whatever reason causes my gpu to get stuck at its max clock, even though the load is often 30-60 percent. Eventually, this max clock causes my gpu to overheat to ridiculous levels, to about 90C. When I started playing on November 20, I did not have this issue. If anybody has any possible solutions, please help. Thanks.
Edit: I've tried rolling back my drivers to no avail.
Edit 2: I set the max clock speed of my gpu to be about 200Mhz lower, thus allowing my gpu to run at a lower voltage. This is not an ideal fix, but it seems to be doing okay.
