GAME CAN'T PLAY ON FULL SCREEN

Hi guys, i have a problem that whenever i try to play on full screen mod my game turning to black screen. I only be able to play on window mod and i did try everything i found on forum but nothing fix.
Please help

RIG: GTX 1060 6GB

        I7-4770, 3.4GHZ

        16GB RAM

if I play in full screen mode or window without borders the game freezes at the beginning of the game or in the middle of it, but if I play in window mode I have no problem.

Radeon cards are kinda picky with apex.

There is a good chance this will help:

Navigate to your game files and right click r5apex.exe.

open properties and click the compatability tab.

Tick the disable fullscreen optimisation and apply.

run the game and test.

i tried all but the only thing that kind da "worked" was when i switch to borderless window. It does look like fullscreen but its not. So i guess that the only solution for me now. But i still want a legit fix for this.

Try this it will check the health of your windows and make sure your updated:

1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, right click the Windows button, and then select Command Prompt (Admin). If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow or Yes.
2. Type the following command, and then press Enter.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

1. Type the following command and press Enter.

sfc /scannow

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

1. Close the command prompt, and then run Windows Update again.
