Friends List Issue

Issues with connecting to friends list/chat? Log into game just fine, but the game shows no friends on my list when in fact I am in discord with a friend that I'm trying to play apex with! Not sure if anyone else has this issue but would be very thankful for any help! Also last night we had issues with sending each other friend requests and had to have tech support call us to work it out. Please tell me I do not have to do that again!!! xD

you need to open up the steam application for it to work and have it open while you play. that is what worked for me
