Friend and I can't see each other online or send invites/friend requests on Apex [ Edited ]

My friend (PC) and I(PS4) used to be able to see each other online and send invites, but recently noticed that we never see each other online and whenever I try to add him he doesn't get any friend requests from me. I told him to try and add me, but when he searches my username it says "not found." I've logged on to EA to see if I may have blocked him on accident, but he doesn't show up on my blocked list. We just disappeared from each other's friends list and I'm not sure how to fix the issue. Thanks in advance!
