Sorry everyone,

Now I'm getting crashes before the game can load, as soon as I load into the game, and pretty much constantly so I can't even start a match.  I guess my previous solution wasn't the right one after all, but hopefully all of the things in this thread are helping someone.  EA isn't making any effort to reply to these forums or contact any users on them, so it's up to us if we want to keep helping each other.

The latest 17.12.2 also crash on me. I guess I gonna roll back for good

I thought I had the problem fixed again.  The new addition was the newest GFX driver from Nvidia, but I keep getting silent crashes to desktop and BSOD's randomly.  They seem less frequent with the new driver.   The downside is the first 5 minutes of gameplay is horribly jerky and low fps, like assets take 5 minutes to load...
