Franchise Mode:Error code (CE-34878-0) PS4

★★★ Newbie

Let me start by saying I am extremely disappointed in EA for releasing a bugged out game. I've never pre-ordered a game before and I never will again after this. With that said, the issue is that every time I've started a franchise it becomes a corrupted file for no apparent reason. I thought this was a PS4 issue but this only happens when I'm trying to play 19". All of my other games work and all of my other Lives work properly. I have even deleted the game and re-installed as suggested. My system is up to date and Live 19' is up to date. I went to playstation's website they suggested initializing. Needless to say, IT DIDN'T WORK PEOPLE so don't waste your time. I've been looking for another solution but I have yet to find one. One thing that I did notice is that this may have something to do with the rosters. I say this because even though Live released a update this week which included the roster, they weren't completely accurate with the free agents. So I updated them myself. Any franchise that I started with "My Updated" roster became corrupted. Any trade that I made within the franchise corrupted the file, sometimes the players wouldn't even switch teams after a completed trade. Thats Crazy. I only say this because any Franchise that I started with the DEFAULT ROSTER loaded more frequently than the Franchises that  used the roster that I created even though they even though they eventually became corrupted to. I know I am not the only one having this problem. EASPORTS, I need y'all to fix this or start refunding. If anyone else having this problem has found a solution for this let me know.

Fellas....I saw somebody tried this and I did it myself and it worked.  Go to NBA Play Now, advance to the jersey select screen and then back out to the main menu screen.  Then go to Franchise and load the game.  Don't know why, but I was able to open my game after all the other "solutions" didn't work.   EA....be better than this....fer cripes sakes.

I have had the EXACT same issue.  Even spoke to an EA rep on the phone about...suggested same things  system update, game update, PS4 initialization, etc.   EA this is NOT a PS4 problem.  It has something to do with your coding.   This REQUIRES and update fix.  Last year I switched from 2K to Live 18...no problems.   But Live 19 is a huge disappointment for me, and sounds like other franchise mode players.   Years ago I quit buying Madden cuz I suffered the same problems.  Y'all need to spend some time on this.....If I don't see an update fix soon, I will trade the game in and go back to 2K.  If I do, I am NEVER coming back to the Live series.   If others do the same, so much for the "reascension" of the Live series.

Season not loading!

I edited my roster created a bunch of players started a franchise then saved it. The next day after I came home from work & attempted to load my franchise it would not load. It keeps crashing & sending me back to the ps4 home screen. Come on EA you gotta do better. That's why 2K is killing you guys......

Extremely disappointed with NBA live 19. I have a bunch of friends and cousins that I was looking forward to playing live with them so they could switch from 2k but it’s been serveral days I keep getting the same error when I go to continue my franchise. No update yet so I’m going back to 2k.

Sorry to hear that CongcsUS.   It still works for me.   I also make sure to move the controller over to a team as if I'm going to play, not just watch CPU vs CPU before I back out.   I always pick the Celtics.   Maybe you are doing that too, in which case I have no answers.   Another guy told me that he erased all of his custom rosters and used default roster and fixed his issue.   I didn't have luck with that.   Apparently there is an update coming this week, hopefully it will address this issue, not just gameplay.   And you are right....EA needs to be held accountable for this.   I quit buying Madden a few years ago due to problems like this.  If this continues with Live I will go back to 2K and I'm never coming back.   If I wanted to gamble $60 I'd go to a casino.

★ Guide

Try making a backup when it's good so if it goes bad just delete saved data and load good one from a USB this way u don't have to uninstall whole game.

I found a way to prevent this lose of game. Backing up in ps4 /setting/ application management  and finding nba live 2k19 and do both a online backup and a backup to USB drive. Then if you lose data or it gets corrupted load the data u backed up for your character and game back to ps4 system under application management in settings. I back up my data every time I play after shuting  game down. If u made changes to your character that u are not happy like icon u can just go back to your last backup.
