Framerate drop after update [ Edited ]

I am running a 9900k, 32GB of ram and a 2080ti. I had no problem at all until about 2 weeks ago. Everything was buttery smooth, pegged at 144fps. Now, I'll be running and just turn, not in combat, nothing exploding, and my fps drops to 20, then back up, its a glitchy crappy mess. I like this game, but at this point it is literally unplayable. Windows 10, fully up to date, latest nvidia drivers. Tried moving back to a nvidia driver from a few months ago, no change. I have the game turned all the way down to the point where a potato should be able to play it smoothly, let alone a $3k computer.

Same here. No problems right before the patch. Since 4.9.2019 im facing incredible fps drops. When im fighting in slums or skulltown, my fps are dropping below 50 fps. Please fix that problem asap!!

Hey all.

I have seen people fix this issue by deleting EAC in the Apex Legends folders.
Open your File explorer and locate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex
And delete following files:

• EasyAntiCheat
• EasyAntiCheat_launcher.exe
• EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll

Then locate to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\__Installer\customcomponent 

And delete following files:

• EasyAntiCheat

Then restart Origin, go to Game Library, click on Apex Legends.
Then go to settings -> Game Properties and repair the game.

Let me know if this maybe solved the issue.

Same issue after update. But in release day all was fine and on next day i observed FPS drops
