First 7 day ban because auto detection thought I said a bad word

★★★ Newbie

I got my first 7-day ban for saying "Nigeru" and "Nigerundayo" to my Japanese teammate in the team chat. If you search up the meaning of these words you will see that they literally mean to run away in Japanese (I was playing ranked on the Tokyo servers and they were the last one left), but because I typed it in Romaji and not Kanji because I didn't think, I am now banned for 7 days. I did multiple appeals but just kept getting auto-rejected with no human feedback. Now my account's going to be stained with a racist ban when I didn't even say something bad. I don't really care about not being able to play for 7 days but I don't want my account to have a ban on its history (especially a racist one). Has anyone ever gotten a ban removed from their account history or no? Any information/personal experience regarding these types of bans would help a ton. My friends have been laughing at my situation too considering I'm Black  T_T.

@TKReaperHawke

I have heard of people getting this for using the words you described. I do not however know how things were corrected or not.

I would suggest reaching out to the Terms of Service team and explain the situation thoroughly to them.

Here is a link you can use for that https://help.ea.com/za/help/account/information-about-locked-or-banned-or-suspended-accounts/
