Files Not Found

When I get into my game I see my gun and others weapons as green hexagons (i'm guessing they are errors). When I looked up the fix to it, it said I had to open a BitRaider folder or launcher.settings in the location of my game, but when I get to the location I don't see either. I just see:

Star Wars - The Old Republic

Please help me find or recover these files.

Those are all  shortcuts to other locations

if you right mouse click on the top one and select open file location on that one , where does that go ?

Also when I try uninstalling it says the game is not found on the computer. If worst comes to worst I suppose I could uninstall the game and reinstall it. If I reinstall the game will it still have my characters?

Like I said earlier, I don't have the BitRaider file. That guide requires the BitRaider file. I could just reinstall the game if I keep my characters.

That guide covers both with and without bitraider 

without bitraider is the repair function on the launcher

Mine is set to Streaming but I don't have the bitraider file still. Sorry I didn't clarify this earlier.

There is something odd about your first post 

If you right mouse click on the game shortcut that you use to normally start the game launcher and select "open file location"  what files do you see ?

I gather the top 2 are folders ? it looks like your shortcut has the wrong target 

is there a launcher.exe in one of the below folders ?

This is all that it shows when I do the open file location thing. When I open the same file that I use for the file location thing it opens the launcher even though it doesn't say launcher
