Fifa won't launch pc

Since the update over a week ago the game has failed to launch. I click play, the ea play launcher comes up for a couple of seconds then goes away. It literally just looks like the game was never even loaded in the first place. I've missed the entire team of the year event and won't even be compensated for it, I just want to play the game and I can't. The fact that this massive glaring issue hasn't already been fixed blows my mind. I've done every fix i've seen online and I don't have any clue what to do anymore.
