Hi! I have a problem with connection with other people through online friendlies. I can play coop without any problem but when I invite my friend or he invites me, I get message: opponent has left the match or connection with opponent was interrupted. So what I already checked : we both have open Nat (sometimes moderate but it doesnt matter - it is not double Nat), we both have ipv4, I tried also port forwarding and nothing works. Looking forward for your help
Hey @Michuuu0704 I would suggest that both yourself and your friend take a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/
It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.

I have the same problem. Most of the time that I play online with my friend it tells me “ your opponent has left the match” although I didn’t leave it. And sometimes it is fine. I don’t know how. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?
Hi! My friend and I have the same problem as listed above. We have tried all of the answers in the troubleshooting guide, but it doesn't seem to help.
We can play co-op 2v2, but everytime we try to play a friendly 1v1 against each other, it tells us that the connection was lost.
So do yo u have any tips we could try to make it work?

I was struggling myself as I wasn't able to play online friendlies with my friends, I resolved it by opening port in my router setting. Check it out here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/
In FIFA game section choose your platform like I had PS4 so I chose 3659 as start and end port for UDP and 80 for TCP, please refer attached screenshot.
If you don't know how to change your router settings just go to router IP and enter creds, then go to Avanced settings/ Advanced -> Port Trigger/ Port Range Forwarding( It differs for company to company) but it will look like the screenshot attached just enter the UPD and TCP start & end ports and then click save/Apply changes and that's it.
P.S. Both need to set this if there is still problem in connection also set DNS to 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11
