Hello I have recently bought battlefield 5 and when I got into the the game it suddenly said failed to connect to ea online "online features will be unavailable" please try again"

Assuming you are on an XB1.


You may not have an active XBL Gold or PS+ subscription.

You may be using an underage (child) account which will have online restrictions.


If you are sure those things are not the issue then try these steps:

I have been having this same problem for weeks on the PC. For whatever reason it will connect once every few start ups but the only way I can get it to work is to reboot my machine until it does. I have also tried your trouble shooting issues list and it appears to have no effects on my connection to the servers.
