I was randomly getting pauses in the game for 5-20-30 seconds randomly...
So I after digging around in the forums a bit I found that people using on board Killer Networks NICs are the majority of the people lagging, freezing, or flat out timing out mid match / randomly. I swapped in a PCI Intel NIC and my issues have been resolved. This is the only game I've had any issues with though. So none the less this is the fix for me... Run to your local PC store or Best Buy and buy a PCI network card if you want a fix until they patch it...

For people using Killer. Try going into Killer Control Center and disable Advanced Stream Detect. Fixed it for me.

I ordered a usb network adapter. Will update if it works or not.

Might be viable fix, USB to Ethernet tech isnt so bad these days... Might as well especially if its 3.0 or 3.1 USB.. Not sure if they make Type-C to Ethernet but worth investigating..

I am using Realtek ethernet and still having the same problem though.

So Realtek and Killer Networks are an issue then... Played 20 games now without any issues on an

A "Fix" I suppose but this doesn't really explain the reason why it happens and it's definitely related to this game. I feel like it's more than likely that the reason this fixes your issues is some default setting on your network cards that is changed by default on one of the ones you're swapping to.
