Not really, trial and error is the only way.
You should start with Apps or services that are Graphic related and with system monitoring tools.
Activating all programs and let the services deactivated will show you if it is a program or service that makes trouble.
Activating several programs or services (whatever causes the problem) at once can also help to speed up the process.
