Experiencing inexplicable stutter/lag Apex Legends

Hi, not sure how to describe what's happening. Lag stuttering or fps dropping? Playing apex legends on ps4 and was fine about 4 days ago but recently it's been playing up. My Internet isn't the fastest with 8 mbps but was working fine before. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Try this:

1. Navigate to your game files and locate r5apex.exe.

Then right click and open properties.

In the compatability tab tick the disable fullscreen optimisations and apply.

test the game now.

2. Try refreshing the driver using DDU

select the clean and restart option.

then install the latest driver here:

My lag/rubberbanding is so bad that I enter a building, go up the stairs then lag and end up outside.  I can run around a bit but when I see someone and shoot at them I lag and teleport to another location or end up dead cause I cant control my character while lagging.  My internet is super fast and have a decent ping through the PS4 servers, and still have major issues.  I wish I didn't buy the season pass since I haven't been able to play the game for the last few days due to insane lag.

Any fix? I'm on ps4 and I freeze a lot every single game for about 10-20 seconds and it's just me and not anybody else.. My internet is fine at 600 down and like 40 up. Tried every thing on the web..

Stuttering in main menu then on ship and also throughout game play PS4 Pro user never had a issue since last update . Changed servers still same issue. Connection fine

I’m having the exact same issue, but on PC. @EA_Barry gave me some nonsense general fixes that didn’t do anything. I’m gonna try the stuff @The_Tibber  said in this thread. I’ve done pretty much everything else possible. I think it’s just a new bug they introduced with their latest update. By far the worst bug yet!
