actually, i have a temporary fix for this, as of february 24th i still get this problem. when you load into a mission sometimes ur javelin have no heads/the paint changes to default, when this happens your game will force to dissconnect you. the temp. fix, as soon as you see something wrong with ur javelin, close ur game then start again. you can rejoin the mission with your squad. if the game force DC you, your squad will fill up and you unable to join again. i was hoping that 10gb update is any good, its not. hope this helps. ps4 btw.
Hi guys, I had the same issues and this process worked for me, let's try it and let me know if it was helpful.
I was able to resolve on my own, for anyone else facing the same issues I followed the below steps after normal troubleshooting (Port Forward, Run as Admin, Uninstal/Reinstall, etc.):
1. Open Game Directory
2. Navigate to the Anthem\Data Folder
3. Delete "chunkmanifest, initfs_Win32, layout.toc"
4. Logout / Exit Origin
5. Navigate to AppData\Roaming Folder
6. Delete the entire Origin Folder
7. Navigate to AppData\Local Folder
8. Delete the entire Origin Folder
9. Restart PC
10. Restart Origin
11. Repair Anthem
12. Disable in-game overlay
13. Launch Anthem
This sounds all too familiar. I've done all the same and also spent a couple hours on the phone with EA to no avail. The last thing they said was they would check with their sources and get back to me in an hour. That was 4 days ago.. Everything went south after the update Friday 2/22. Up till that point I had no issues logging into the game. I found tech support totally useless.
Purchasing Anthem has become a no-no for me now.
