It does not have a direct link to connect ps4 account to this ea account. Neither does the "My Account" section. Extremely frustrating.

Same problem. They told me they will contact me but seeing this post I have little hope.
And I only have one question. But how is it possible that EA cannot disconnect old accounts from an email or at least connect a new email to an existing account (sony, microsoft or other)? Who should do it if not them?
