Ok, i am his uncle, i am helping aswell... That "worst" hop as u call it.. have u looked at his average? It's averaging of 2ms... that means that the 113ms was a 1 time extreme maybe, on average he's still good. Secondly, those "high" pings in the lower ranges... i have the same, yet with me Apex doesn't loose connection. Thirdly, he's been playing fine before the battel pass got released, battle pass got released and boom, he has a connection problem. Maybe u guys did sumthing wrong, made sumthing flip over at his ISP and now he's [removed by CM]

Appearantly there's another thread like this with over 30 pages of ppl that have the same problem now.... i doubt it's all at their end too, they all claim it happened after the battle pass update aswell.... Clearly sumthing got messed up with that DLC/Update.... This is no longer a case of a problem with us, but obviously with the game, they also mention it's on an AMD processor, same range as my nephew has (The 6000 ranges/variants). Clearly sumthing has been messed up with the game not working correctly on AMD anymore and what seems to help is disabling cores to make it work, so it looks like apex is messing up multicore use of the AMD CPUs...... Get this fixed asap and take responsibility for ur own mistakes this time... Own up to it and stop putting the blame with us players. I just pointed out the problem here that i found out reading posts on this forum, i just did ur job for u guys.... U gonna pick up the slack now?

I hope u guys read this and do sumthing with it....

Your UO trace is good till it hits the series of unknown hosts @Tin9102 where you have a very high ping. It is your ISP's responsibility to router your data from your home network to our server. Can I ask you to rerun the UO Trace but select one of the European serves rather than the US one?

Firstly when posting on AHQ @Nodakear please do not attempt to bypass the swear filter. The UO Trace that was supplied shows connection issues, there are multiple hops where the Ping best/worst is over 100ms indifference. This is not good and points to connection issues. The UO Trace supplied shows that your nephew has issues with the connection that he needs to solve. If the steps we suggest do not work then you will need to speak with your ISP as we cannot improve your connection for you.

Then explain to me why it works for me with the exact same pings as my nephew had..[removed by Cm]

Also read my second post where i gave the anwser to the problem? U gonna forward that to the appropiate department so they can fix the AMD issues there?

Bro, my ISP claimed everything is ok with them. Idk what is your point that the problem is with my connection, but I installed it on my laptop ( another device ), I was getting disconnected in the first 5 secs also, until I managed to actually start a game at the 10th try or so .... After I started a game, I have no more problems... I can connect on my main pc, I can play the game ...... Now, all of you accusing my ISP and my connection, can you take responsobility, because I argued with 4+ people from my ISP for 2 days long over your claims !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And suddenly the game connected once, and everything comes to its place, without alternating my connection ot restarting the router in any way !!!!! This is on you, dont dare blaming your users !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like if you don't have any idea what you are doing, better don't throw accusations, because I am messing with people in real life over this * !

I am not sure what more I can do for you @Tin9102. As I advised you, you have some very high ping times which will cause issues. It does not mean that every game will be affected but it does mean that you will see issues in many games. If your ISP is not willing to look at the evidence you provide such as the UO Trace and make suggestions on how to improve your connection then this is something you need to discuss with them as they are the ones who route your data now us.

It's amazing that after 2 months there is no fix for this problem and EA don't know that there is a simple workaround.

The workaround i'm about to show works for amd fx processors:

1- Open the Windows Services program.

2- Open the game.

3- Wait until your character freezes and the Time Out message shows up and press continue.

4- When your character shows up in the main screen, quickly press alt tab and restart the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder service in the Windows Services program, you need to be fast for this to work.

5- If your character doesn't freezes for 1 min you are good to go.

The only drawback is that your mic won't work now and this is annoying to do everytime you open the game.
