I'm receiving this on my child's account on our home Xbox when he tries to play multiplayer. I enabled the per application override to allow him to launch the game but he's stuck in offline mode.

As a troubleshooting steps, I set his online restrictions to unrestricted/adult and still unable to play online. What the heck EA? I'm going to request a refund if this isn't resolved.

Hi I saw those, see my second post. I removed all controls and still unable to play online. It's not on the Xbox side.

I'm also having the exact same problem with my son's account and Battlefront 2. I've even changed his date of birth under my Xbox family settings and still getting kicked out on his profile with error code 524. Bought it digitally so we can group up. Not a problem with his console, it is definitely on EAs end.

Did all that last night and an alternate mac address clear they recommended. None of it worked. Still 524.

 

No work around, completely unable to play online. Other accounts on the same xbox are fine.

I went through 4 escalations (and 1.5 hours) before I ended up being forced to put the kids to bed. Still dead in the water.

 

So annoying.

I logged a bug report, all other games we tested were fine. I even removed his account from the family and readded it as an adult, no change.
