When I attempt to launch Apex I get an error message reading "Game Security Violation (#0000000Dh) [LightingService.exe]." After a few google searches I have found that it most likely is an issue with RGB software. I had ASUS AURA, Corsair iCUE, and Thermaltake RGB Plus all installed. I have now uninstalled those programs and am still getting this Easy Anti-Cheat error message whenever trying to open Apex Legends. I have played battlefield V with no issues, as that is also a game that runs off of Origin. Please help fix this issue.

Hey there everyone,
I have been searching around for an answer to this question here and to find out why EAC halts at some measly LED control software.
I haven't been able to find anything useful so I can up with a temporary fix for the issue here.
I made a batch file linked: here
What it does is:
1. Stop the lighting service
2. Launch Apex Legends
3. Wait until you confirm you want the service back'
4. Closes.
Unfortunately you will need to set it as a shortcut on the desktop and to make it ask for admin privileges (limitations regarding stopping and starting services )
While doing this I also was able to find that you can change the icon to make it look exactly like the Apex icon, to keep it all nice and stealthy ;O
Hope this helps you all! (And of course I don't mind helping out if it doesn't work correctly for you all!)
*EDIT* I forgot to mention, you will need to change some specific parts of this to get it to work correctly for you, such as the Drive letter and Program location!

Hi, @TwitchSymboLs
Were you able to figure out which program was causing the error message? A clean boot can help identify what programs are causing this because it launches the PC in a state where it's only Windows essential programs.
Clean Boot

Easy Anti-Cheat also has technical support if you want to raise this up to them.

These were some of the programs players found conflicts with the game:

If I perform a clean boot, will it automatically reset when I restart my pc again?
I mean, there are some things I would like to leave on that are listed as possible conflicting programs.

Even if it doesn't automatically reset it, you can just go back to where you disabled all the programs to enable it again. None of the changes are permanent.

@TobiasDjentleman thanks mate, this worked excellent for me. I guess it is my Aura on the machine that is causing it for me as well.
