Earn Simcash Button Not Working

In the Sims Mobile the earn sim cash button is not working anymore. Nothing happens when I press it. I was in the middle of a task. Is there a way to fix this?

I figured out how to fix this problem. Try turning your wifi off and using mobile data only. The task I was working on, and the ones I completed disappeared though.
