EA FC 24 PC problems with controller

When playing EA FC I have constantly had my contraller suddenly go towards the left when im holding the left stick to the right meaning my players attempt to go fowards and backwards causing passes to mess up and dribbling impossible. Here is the thing, the controller is not the only one. None has stick drift which is confirmed when i use third party software to check. It only kicks in when playing ea fc. Now when i run the game through steam controller input it doesnt do that, actually i played a whole game without it, now the issue with that and why i cant continue is steam has input delay. So is this a known issue? Why am i getting drift when my controller is brand new and it suddenly only does this on EA FC.

had the same issue, solved it by terminating steam process via task manager

Issue is the Same on the ps5 since 4 days

I have a similar issue - in PS5 and only in EA FC 24 (FIFA 23 is ok) - The player suddenly, instead of shooting, starts dribbling ("rolling") - as if the right stick was being pulled.

I tested with another control and the problem continues. And both of them don't have a drift problem - if they do, it's very slight.

Please, can you explain this further?? I'm getting desperate with the sudden "change of direction" every single time. Which process should you terminate?
