EA AntiCheat Launcher is already running

Tried the solutions that worked for some but not for others on this page and none of which worked for me.

Having the same issue. Nothing works so far.

I had the same problem. After downloading the game and trying to run it, the game would never start and would always give me the message "EA AntiCheat Launcher is already running." and that's basically it. The following solution definitely worked for me and the game is now running:

1. Go to your FIFA 23 app folder. For me it was at  "Steam\steamapps\common\FIFA 23".
2. Navigate to the EAAntiCheat Installer folder found at "__Installer\EAAntiCheat" and run the file EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe
3. Uninstall EAAntiCheat using the EAAntiCheat Installer window that pops up then close the window.
4. Run FIFA 23 again.

After starting the game, it started re-installing EAAntiCheat again and then the game started running properly.

On your desktop 

left click shortcut to game 

or locate the game folder trough search 

inside FIFA 23 folder 

click the folder Installer 

then click folder EAAntiCheat 

Run the EAAantiCheat.Installer 

Click the menu arrow 

select FIFA23 

Then select Uninstall

Close the EAAntiCheat Setup menu 

Then Run the same EAAntiCheat Installer 

and select FIFA23

Then click Install 

Close it all out and run the game. 

Works for me. 

Think that the files for the AntiCheat are generating an error during game exiting causing it to Error while starting the game. 

But a fresh clean reinstall of just the Anticheat  repairs the issue, hopefully doesn't happen often.

JUST STOP COPY AND PASTE THE SAME REPLY AS IT IS NOT WORKING !!!!!

STOP THE UPDATES IF YOU CAN NOT DO IT CORRECTLY OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOOSE ALL FIFA FUNS....

I believe there was a new update today for either EA app or FIFA 23 and it seems to have messed up the game again!l FIFA 23 is NOT LAUNCHING at all. The anti-cheat reinstall fix used to work but now it stopped working. In the EA App, it just does not start and on in Origin it says EA anti-cheat is already running!
