Dual screen Cursor not locked

★★★ Newbie

Hello.  The game was working fine but after a recent crash, my mouse won't stay locked to my primary screen. Sometimes when I flick quickly, the mouse activates my secondary screen and minimizes the game on my primary monitor. I am playing in full screen mode.  Any suggestions?

But if an odd one @A5CENDED, I can't seem to recreate it on my end so the best thing to do may be to exit out of the game and Origin and once done restart your system and launch both as admin.

What you could do if the issue is still there is hit the windows+P and set to PC Screen only. It's not ideal but it should stop your mouse wandering off screen during gameplay.

Mine just started doing this after updating my PC. It only happens on Origin games. Makes the game unplayable because my cursor almost always ends up on my second monitor. As for the 'windows+p' solution, I didn't buy a second monitor to have it turned off while gaming. If anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it.

you ever find a fix?  all my origin games (but ONLY my origin games) do this as well.

I had same problem and fixed it by turning off in game origin over-lay.

After almost a year of trying to find a solution i tried looking outside of EA for answers.

I tried:

- full screen / windows / extended

- turning off origin overlay

- turning off discord overlay or any other overlays

this did not work for me, and i still flicked over to my 2nd screen and passed away Standard smile

SOLUTION:

There is an app which is pretty old and has not been updated since 2013 but it works:

It's a cursor lock app which you can setup per game seperately. After you followed the steps in this link: http://www.snakebytestudios.com/projects/apps/cursor-lock/

Then you open the game and start this tool and your mouse stays on your main screen, the downfall is that you have to boot this app every time you play it.

So i put the created cursor lock app on my dashboard on my 2nd screen so i can flick over to it and boot it up and go back to apex and mouse stays on main screen the entire session.

Hope this helps...

Cheers!
