Decrease game performance in campaign

Just to lay down my computer specs. I have a i3-8100/GTX 1050 oc/8 gb/and a HDD. 

The first few missions I started playing I don't see any performance issues. No huge fps drops and everything was going smoothly on medium settings. However, I do notice that the game performance starts decreasing as I continue on with the campaign. I started getting fps drops every second and getting long loading times for missions. It started on the mission playing as Luke Skywalker, the amazing scenery and textures was giving me some minor fps drops, so I decided to tweak some video settings in order. Everything went downhill after that. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game however with no prevail. Right now I'm on the Battle of Jakku mission and I'm just getting horrible performance while playing. 

Can anyone suggest of what I should do in order to increase my performance?

Hey,  @Noor_awsome  make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date. 

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with SWBF2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

I did notice that you said you had i3 that is below the minimum for the SWBF2, below is what we do recommend.
