Open Command prompt, Type here: Ipconfig /flusndns
Clearing Origin cache could also maybe solve the issue.
Note: All settings will be set to default in your Origin client after this.
Now restart your system and try to update Apex Legends again.
If you were not able to delete some files, your Origin wasn't closed completely.
Open then Task Manager and end the following running tasks:
Origin.exe and OriginWebHelperService.exe

@RuCastPTThis worked for me too! It would appear that changing the ipv6 DNS was necessary. Very interesting...
