Hi all, as we look into issues folks are having with the game, we'd like to gather some specific information.
Many folks have some great troubleshooting steps over on this thread, but unfortunately the issue persists for some. If you've tried the steps there (including swapping to the 417.71 drivers on Nvidia 10 and 20 series cards) and you still have issues, can you post the following info in this thread?
1: The resolution you play at.
2: Your in-game anti-aliasing settings, you can check this in the advanced graphics options.
3: If you use any external anti-aliasing or enhancement software, and if so, any details that you can provide.
4: Your dxdiag
Thank you.

Driver 418.81 and .91 crashed for me every 2-3 round ( TDR and then Engine Error ( DXGI_Error )
I tested also with Reduced GPU/Memory clocks and Tested a different RTX card on a Similar system and could repro this crash with driver 418.xx everytime
Res: 1920x1080 ( fullscreen )
AA: TSAA
Texture filtering: x16
Software: none ( driver settings default ) - only Origin in game FPS Overlay
With driver version 417.71 my game never crashed again since over 1 Week, even on long sessions 8+ Hours
I also added my Video config from Apex ( C:\Users\....\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local )
Hopeful this bug gets fixed soon, so i can use newer drivers again

This is not just specific to 10XX and 20XX cards. I have GTX 980M and I also get these errors:
1) Resolution: 1920 x 1080
2) AA ingame: I've set to both TSAA and Disabled and get errors both ways (maybe you could add other AA options since TSAA smudges everything. Could possibly add MSAA
3) None.
Drivers i've tested:
417.71, 417.35, 417.01 and the recent 418 driver. All of them crash, although I suffer fewer crashes with 417.71 driver.

1920x1080
My Anti-alising setting is grayed-out (cannont change that setting but TSAA is greyed-out in the tab)
No software installed (no Afterburner, no Asus GPU Tweak II, no Aura RGB app, I even uninstalled the Razer mouse app and the Logitech Imperator keyboard app)
It random crashes to desktop and constant freeze (sometimes the freeze is gone but the network disconnect icon appears top right then sometimes reconnects or more frequently it brings me to the main menu with the Disconnected from server error).
