Thanks for relaying the news, @KuchenBear!
Nvidia just released a new driver that should address this crash error.

Well, I updated and tried apex again. Still the same issue for me except that it freezes more than it crashes with DXGI now.

I downloaded the 419.35 driver and still had a DXGI crash. (DDU safe mode clean instal)
1: 2560x1440
2: TSAA
3: none
I have i7 6700K, 16 Gb DDR4, SSD, RTX 2080.
I had everything in game on highest setting except Texture Streaming Budget on High (4 Gb VRAM). V-Sync disabled in game but On in Nvidea Control Pannel. Power Management: Prefered Maximum Performance. G-Sync ON.
Origin and Nvidea Experience overlays disabled.
EasyAntiCheat Properties Recovery options: Restart the service 0 seconds.
Hit repair on Origin Game and EasyAntiCheat before crash.
All that and i still had the DXGI error with the latest 419.35 driver. I'm starting to really hate my RTX 2080. Pictures of the error and DxDiag in attachment.

I have to confirm, that new Nvidia drivers fixed the problem for me. And most importantly it also improved on stuttering problem.
I have GTX 1660Ti.

High details.

I dont get "Engine Error" or "DXGI" popups when the game crashes with the newer nvidia driver, now the game freezes while the ingame sound continues for a few seconds, but then it closes and goes back to the desktop.
Game still broken, how solid my pc is? not even Anthem crashes (but Anthem sucks balls). The only single piece of software on my computer that crashes is Apex Legends.
