Crossplay Friend Finding not working

Yes you can I have several friends that are PC while I play on console

You can. Crossplay works with both consoles, as well as PC. I know this from personal experience.

I, too am having this issue. I am Xbox, I'm trying to add a friend from PS4, and we even tried the EA ID and nothing! Both direct searching and trying to invite to the club isn't working.
