Credit Heist Event not showing

Today I got the notification for the credit heist event, but the event is not listed in the Events tab. I closed the program, restarted my tablet and the event still isn't shown. What's up with that? Is there any known solution for this? This happened the other day with the droid smuggling event, so I'm guessing both issues are related. If I'm going to miss both events from now on, I may as well stop playing altogether, since this would seriously cripple my chances of advancing my toons.

Exact same issues. Had a notification for the Droid Smuggling event earlier this week - nothing showing in the game. Same for the Credit Heist notification today. Tried multiple restarts of the game and my phone, to no avail.
