Crashing related to USB audio device.

Today is the first time launching Apex from Steam and it keeps crashing 100% of the time back to the Steam Launcher, it only happens when my USB audio device is set as windows default device (berhinger U-Phoria UMC22 powering mic and headphones). The same setup has worked to play Apex on Origins and the PS4. I've also tested using HDMI Audio on a TV and realtek digital output which both work. I've attached a screenshot of the error I get when it crashes (it's always the same).
