Crashes on PC Steam. Details and attempts to resolve inside. Close to refunding

Hi there,

 

Just purchased the game and have spent the past 3 hours trying to get it to stop crashing. 

 

Initially it kept dropping during the initial cinematic. After running it on windowed mode I was able to skip it and make it to the main menu. 

 

So far it crashes about a minute into story mode or training. I was able to join a quick match and dc'd upon respawn.

I have already:

 

1. Clean reinstall of video drivers

2. Turned off all overlays (steam/discord)

3. Turned off volumetric effects and tried to run with reduced resolutions

4. Did 3 passes on memtest86 as well as windows memory diagnostics. 
5. Updated HOTAS Drivers

6. Disconnected mouse 

7. Disconnected HOTAS and tried kbm 

 

I am just 20 mins shy of 2 hours on steam and close to refunding. 

Kindly advise.
