@Igothe When you update bios, all of your old settings and profiles are deleted.

Are you absolutely 100% sure that you used the exact same settings as before?
Because I looked at these bioses; they do nothing to fix the Intel timing problem.

The newest microcode for 9900K (Microcode AE), which isn't even available via bios flashing yet, doesn't even fix this issue

(you can install the newest microcode by modding your bios with UEFI Bios updater on win-raid forums).

What are your specs and what voltages and cpu speeds are you set at?  Because these crashes can be fixed either by downclocking the CPU --or--raising the cpu core voltage, unfortunately far beyond what any other game or stress test requires for stability (only AVX small FFT prime95 --29.8 build 3 requires more cpu voltage than Apex Legends at the moment--and runs 30C hotter also!).

So, it's 5 hours now without any crash.

Before I updated my bios I didn't change anything on it, so I guess it was just defaut setting with xmp on. There was no overclocking on it.

My settings are exactly the same now, default + xmp.

I didn't downclock my processor like the actual workaround advice.

Only thing I changed is my Bios version and I don't have crash anymore, so, I guess, if you have MSI motherboard you should give it a try...

I join my last crash log here (the one before I decided to update bios)

My hardware is:

intel 9900k

msi z390 gaming pro carbon

Zotac amp core 2080ti

@Igothe What's your CPU voltage and cache speed and CPU core speed though?
Your MSI should have access to VR VOUT.  Download HWInfo and you can use VR VOUT for your idle and load voltages.

The only reason I can think of, if all you did was use optimized defaults (which uses autovoltages, which are determined by CPU VID and the AC/DC loadlines (NOT loadline calibration!), is that the older bioses defaulted to a higher cache frequency.  Gigabyte used a x47 cache ratio with defaults on the release Z390 bioses.  This was changed to x43 for obvious reasons (not all CPU's can run a x47 cache without huge bumps to CPU Vcore (controls L1 and L2 cache voltages) and VCCIO (L3 cache and memory controller).

Thank you.

Here's another one different crash Standard smile

My guess was it's my memory clock problem.

But now I think the problem was in my Nvidia video card + FreeSync enabled (monitor is now supported by Nvidia G Sync).

I got no errors after disabling it.
