Getting this error

All the crashes for me don't ever give error messages. The game just simply closes. I occasionally get some video and sound stuttering just before it, but it will still just close instantly with no message at all.

Same here. It crashes my graphics card and I have to wire into my mobo just to get my monitor working so I can restart my computer.

Crashed twice in a row just after dropping from the ship. I've been getting this crash since day 1 but it tends to go away after happening a few times a session. I'm suspicious it may be related to memory usage but have no definite data to back that up.
