GTX 1080

16GB Ram

i7 6700 CPU

Samsung G9 5120x1440

Things tried:

  • Latest 456.55 graphics card drivers.
  • KB4576478 is installed.
  • Game was originally on SSD, then moved to HDD to test - same issue.
  • Used DDU to remove old graphics drivers in safe mode - same issue.
  • No recording utilities running (Shadowplay/OBS/Twitch)
  • No overclocking.

Gave up.

@EA_Atic Thanks for the reply. I made sure windows was up to date. I also disabled GeForce experience. I grew frustrated after a weekend of not being able to play with friends. I returned my Samsung G9 and went back to a 16:9 monitor and no longer have any issues. Thanks.

I may have discovered a solution for me, I had to reduce the resolution from 32:9 5120x1440 to 16:9 2560x1440. Unfortunate. but at least I can play...

Hey, @BLSmith2112 make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Star Wars: Squadrons and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

if you go above 16:9 2560x1440 that's not 32:9 5120x1440 - does that work?

Let me know if this works or not for you. Standard smile
