Crash Report

[ Edited ]
★★★★★ Guide

I have been crashing all day, actually since the 7/10 patch but I don't want to single it out by any means. I do use RivaTuner to lower my fps, I can play on nearly 90 fps on lowest settings at times since you guys optimized things.. I know that's not great but I have a much better video card than processor, planning to upgrade soon. So I typically even lower it to 60-70 and just increase vram and other settings so it looks really nice.

I've tried a lot of things... not running rivatuner, lowering to +fps_max 60, lowering settings, compatibility mode, etc..

just not sure

This is what is in my apex-crash report doc:

Are you sure you are using the right command? +fps_max number

Assuming Rivatuner causes the problems:

Why don't you try removing Rivatuner entirely from your PC and then try the latest version of MSI Afterburner as an alternative?

*Dont try Afterburner as an alternative without completely removing Rivatuner. Removing it could eliminate potential traces or background processes of Rivatuner still interfering with the game. Restart PC after removal of Rivatuner

Good luck

quick update: all latest crashes says 'apex crashed because of unknown DLL or EXE' in which i'm assuming it's talking about RivaTuner ... but again I've tried running without riva many times and it still crashes almost instantly. The problem is when I try to run without RivaTuner, the fps command line doesn't work and my comp will try to run it on 144 fps- which is why I started using RivaTuner in the first place. I get it's a graphically exhaustive game so I am looking to upgrade but to play on lowest shouldn't be too, too bad. I used to play for awhile on highest quality, 4G vram without issues for a long awhile

Is the fps command-line not working because everytime I launch my game it is acting like it isn't working. Is there another way to limit my fps?
