Constant Stuttering/Freezing on 388.13 AND 388.31

I've been playing the campaign since Early Access and it's almost unplayable because it's skipping/stuttering/freezing for up to 2 seconds at a time. I was hoping that 388.31 would fix this, but it hasn't. It seems like the GPU Usage drops to almost 0 whenever the FPS dips. I'm running a 1080 Ti and all other games run like butter. I know a lot of others are seeing this issue at all resolutions/settings levels. Has anyone found a temporary fix for this? It's basically un-playable.

I got the same problem on 1080ti, i7-7700k @4.6Ghz, 32gb RAM. I change the graphic to low but nothing change. Always Stuttrering and freezing on the same driver.  (388.13 adn 388.31).

I pay more for early paid and cannot play

Same situation over here, the thing is that Im not going to buy the game until this problem is fixed, but I don't know how am I going to know they fixed it if I haven't got the game...Because everyone in reddit is talking about lootboxes and anyone about this kind of problems

Had a similar issue in a different game, turned out it was a Windows problem

Do you by any chance have Discord/Skype/etc running at the same time?

Discord sometimes, so I doubt it is related

I saw an EA FAQ where they said they are aware of an issue that is causing stuttering in DX12 mode. They said to try changing it to DX11 for the time being. I will try this when I get home.

This worked wonders for me. In most games I went from 50 fps to 80+ fps and no more stuttering.
