It takes ages trying to find a game and i keep getting, an error “connection to your opponent has been lost”and when i do finally get a game I suffer with button delay and lag. 

Before the game I have a good ping, running on 70mb fibre. 

I had the button delay last year which forced me to stop playing and now with Tony being able to even find a game I’m not sure what the problem is.

 

I am on PS4

Hi there, @yourhinio.

 

I'll try to help find out why you keep disconnecting. Just to be clear, you're on a wired connection. Correct? Also, has it been a while since you power cycled your equipment? If so, try doing it now with these steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

Yeah I have followed your help guide and completed all the steps including running the outrace which showed all good average pings abs no packet losses

Please find screenshot. Still the same issue with trying to find games. Also when i manage to get a game the button delay is terrible.

 

Everything seems to match your recommended requirements other than 1 packet lost on one of the addresses

 

any help with this would be awesome.

Thanks. What country are you located in? Your ping times get pretty high, but that could be due to the distance since you're pinging a server in the US.

i am in the UK. Why would I be pinging a US server? 

I don’t sit behind a VPN or anything like that. 

is there anything I can do to stop that happening?

Try using the European server IP instead. It is - 159.153.72.252.
