Connecting BF1 to companion [ Edited ]

I really don't understand why EA had to make this * so difficult to connect EA to Companion. On BF1 it says it sent me a link to some email I have never seen before? Then the app has no option to connect with Xbox live account. I have also downloaded Origin and tried to add persona with the friends button but that just tries to send friend requests. This is obivously an issue a lot of people are having so maybe it should be addressed instead of offering an outdated solution of how to add accounts to Origin.

If you still have some troubles getting into the webapp or can`t remember your EA Account password, you should get in touch withEA Advisors directly https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/.

All this security measures are needed to make sure only you can access your private information. 

And please, do not post your personal information (like your email address) on public boards.
