Connected Francise Glitch?

Playing connected franchise with two friends on madden 19. One of my friends just caused us to end our last franchise because we caught him editing players contracts and a few minor things that we could confirm. So this franchise we made everyone a commish. So I took pics of all his draft pics at the draft and wouldn’t you know 4/9 draftees had their progression traits go up from as small as normal to quick to normal to star. We called him out on it and he deflected saying the game must have messed up. What’re the chances of this happening? Like is this possible for his players to level up their progressions without playing more than 100 downs or perhaps a glitch? Just want to be 100% sure before I completely call him out.

We haven't seen any reports like that on our end. Going forward I highly encourage only having a franchise with only 1-2 commissioners max to avoid potential discrepancies like this again. Hope everything works out for your franchise, good luck.
