Have a similar problem with the clubs. Ever since I asked a club to join, I've been wearing the club's clan tag even though I'm not in the club. When selecting characters in the game, you can see the clan tag, otherwise not. If I join a new club, I get the new clan tag. If I leave the new club, I get the old clan tag again even though I am no longer in a club.
