Class progression stuck

In the company screen the assault class is level 7.5 while it should be over 8. Also I have already unlocked the M1907SF which would be unlocked with assault level 8, so I have definitely earned that already. It seems like I get no XP from new rounds either.

Turn off Cloud saves in origin, should help

I researched a bit more and I am actually getting progress but its lagging behind and I have now reached lvl 8 again. The indicated progress on the screen after a round shows further progess,putting me at nearly lvl 9, while the progress indicator in the company loadout screen puts me at around lvl 8 and a quarter.
