Chat stopped working

Hi,

Since last update my friend and I can not see each others chat messages. We can see each other online and can type in the chat window but the message is not received at the other end. Everything was fine a up until about 2 months ago when the first patching started for 2019.

Anyone else experiencing anything similar and if so has a fix?
