@Sinistar83 It's definitely still an issues. The devs are aware of it, and have an info gathering thread on it here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Characters-Not-Appearing/m-p/8200476#M1094

Hey @TumbleElf
Wanna be a little bit more descriptive?
Can you tell me what platform you're playing on, where and when this is happening, etc?
Thanks

I am writing this on my mobile device so I cannot show any screenshots.
anyway, i play on Windows 10 PC, and I have recently purchased the Game. Every time I load the game or launch it, I can only play as 1 character. I can’t see any other character except the one I am playing.
when I changed character, it won’t load. My ability icons won’t load, and my character is invisible. I can’t move - only jump, and the crosshairs are covered by a red X.
i don’t know if this is a common problem, but, I did “repair” the game on origin by pressing the Repair feature.
that didn’t help at all.
please respond thanks.

Hey @TumbleElf,
Sorry to hear about this.
Do you mind posting a DxDiag so we can take a look?

Thanks for attaching the DxDiag.
Here are some steps you can try:
1. Disable the Origin in-game Overlay in the Origin Launcher and your Game Properties in the Library
2. Clear Origin Cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
3. Run Origin and Plants vs Zombies as Administrator
4. Uninstall/Reinstall Origin: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
5. Clean Boot: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
6. Make sure your Firewall has Access to Battle for Neighborville, and disable your Anti-Virus
7. Close Background Apps: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin/
8. Uninstall/Reinstall the latest Graphics Drivers: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Let us know if any of these steps work for you.
Thanks

I recently replaced my graphics card but it won’t do the trick.
it improves lag but it on’t solve the glitch.
i have reinstalled origin, and I am a little bit concerned about disabling my anti-virus.
I will test the other things you wrote, and hopefully it will get better.
Thanks for the help.
are there any other options that are more related to the computer and it’s settings rather than the origin launcher?
i am pretty certain it is origins problem though.

It is nice to know other people are having the same issue and maybe the game developers can improve it.
(it’s not nice that you have the glitch though)

Hey @MowsDaLawn
Have you updated to the current Nvidia Graphics Driver, and see if that works for you?
