Cant register new debit card

I have a problem trying to change/register a new debit card. Whenever I enter the correct information I am met by the error message: 

• "The card number is not unique for the given user"Has this something to do with the fact that my swtor account uses a different email from my origin account (where the debit card is up to date)? How should I procede if I want to subscribe to swtor? Thanks in advance.

I updated my mail adress to coincide with my Origin Account and now the issue is resolved...
