Cant play battlefield V multiplayer since today (UK) [ Edited ]

Since the free weekend trial has finished, i can no longer access multiplayer even though i owned the game before the trial. Its saying i have to buy the upgrade for 54.99£!! Or pay for 3.99£ a month for EA access? 

My brother and friend have the game but are not experiencing this issue.

what the hell is going on?
